Did you know that the mixed wine case was originally invented in 1893 by Noël vin Chalice? He wanted enough wine for Christmas without making several trips to the wine emporium. This is not one of the facts that you’ll find accompanying the wines in your case, because we made it up.
But what is true is that the holidays should entail some of the best wine you’ve had all year. Our expert in-store guidance and wine tours are here to help you explore and find your favourite Italian wines. However, we wanted a way to guarantee that what’s on your table this year is top-notch.
The exploration has been done for you as the historic ingenuity of Italy is showcased in this eclectic selection of bottles. A tour of its famous regions, in a box.
Good wine is for everyone, so we designed three cases for three different budgets:
Cuculo Classics – our consistently popular wines, selected by our customers. £65 or £120 for two of each
Winter Warmers – each bottle hailing from a different region, and not afraid to show off. £95 or £185
Aficionado’s Choice – famous, age-worthy wines of eminent producers. £265 or £510
Find out what was created when, after 100 years of making only one wine, a producer started experimenting. Learn about the ancient Greek legend that gives a Chianti producer’s cellar its mystery. Or see just how well a fomer chemist can make a Prosecco rosé. These Christmas wine cases come with accessible tasting notes, pairing suggestions, and fun tidbits.
A mixed case from Cuculo is not only a treat for your wine rack, but a lovely gift for any wine lover.
