Grape: 100% Catarratto
Eye: the first bottling of the Ciello tends to have the lees in evident suspension, giving the wine a chalky opacity.
Nose: a pleasant trace of pink grapefruit with apple-skin.
Palate: creamy; soft almond. Later bottlings are clearer but lose a touch in mouthfeel.
Food pairing: aperitif; fish dishes; risotto.
Serving temperature: 8-10℃.
