“Costa di Giulia” Bolgheri DOC Bianco 2019 by Michele Satta

This refined white Bolgheri is a blend of semi-aromatic Vermentino and Sauvignon Bianco.

It shows lime juice with herb – fennel, mint, dill – and sweet fruits such as passion fruit and peach, subtly backed with the grassy quality and refreshing acidity of the Sauvignon Blanc. On the palate it is dry, delicate and juicy with a firm, fresh structure and great length.

Serve at 8-10 deg C, and pair with antipasti, shellfish, fish soup, pasta and white meat.

This Bolgheri Bianco is drinking very well just now – it scored highest in a Cuculo customer tasting in March 2021 – but will develop in the bottle for another 10 years.
