The “Italian Friends” cheese box is a great introduction into the country’s cheeses – or a chance for old acquaintances to revisit.

• 150g Pecorino “Ma-Tru” – Made from unpasteurised Cows milk; unsuitable for vegetarians.

Christopher says: this delicious cheese, from the town of Amatrice in the Lazio regione, is aged for up to 6 months. It has a great flavour, and is one of our favourite Pecorini.

• 150g Gorgonzola Dolce – Pasteurised Cows milk cheese; unsuitable for vegetarians.

Christopher says: This classic blue cheese oozes with character with its good strength of flavour.  Highly recommended.

• 1 x Robiola di Roccaverano 250g approx. – Italian soft, ripened cheese made with cow, goat, and sheep milk; unsuitable for vegetarians.

Christopher says: this creamy, luscious mixed-milk cheese is made in Piemonte’s famous Langhe regione.
