Eye
Intense garnet red, elegant and transparent. Becoming brickish with age.
Nose
Full and complex. Floral (dried rose and violet); fruit (raspberry and wild strawberry); developing aromas of maturation such as jam, marmalade and nutmeg leading to black pepper, liquorice and tobacco.
Palate
Tannic in youth; softening to a velvet texture with maturity; dry and full-bodied; harmonious.
